With their previous lighting system operating on photocells, which often failed and left lights on unnecessarily, Yorwaste sought a more reliable and energy-efficient solution.

Our team at Energy Oasis performed a thorough survey of the sites and created a tailored lighting design that reduced the number of lights by 20%.
Our Approach
We installed Low Energy Designs Sunburst light fittings, UK-manufactured fixtures that emit light at 5,200 Kelvins, similar to daylight. These lights are equipped with controls to activate only when there is movement and it is dark, reducing unnecessary usage and light pollution
